Beyond being a wonderful person, Katie is a very gifted photographer and artist. My husband and I are so incredibly grateful that she was available to photograph our wedding, it was truly a perfect day. We appreciated all of her energy and creativity in capturing all of our priceless memories. She was professional, enthusiastic and patient with me and my wishes. Her artistic ideas turned out better than I could have imagined. I'm speechless from the breadth of emotions and life that she captured in the photos -- deep and profound love, bliss, joy, and so much more. Instead of a wedding album full of typical and stiff “posed” shots, we have a documentary of our wedding day. Katie doesn't just capture ‘the shot,’ she captures ‘the experience’.

In December of 2011, My wife and I attended a charity auction event approximately a year before our wedding. We were just getting into the planning stages of our big day. At the charity event we just happened to see a wedding photography package from Katie as part of the auction and we were lucky enough to win it that night. Katie was at the charity event that night ironically taking pictures and we introduced ourselves as the big winners of her wedding photo package. We knew as soon as we met her she was perfect for us. We immediately hit it off and knew we had the perfect person to handle one of the most important jobs of our wedding night. Katie was so wonderful to work with during the planning. At our wedding we were so at ease with her being there. She was fantastic with our families and wedding party always keeping things fun, lively, and special. She had such a perfect eye throughout the process and my wife couldn’t have looked more beautiful in our pictures. Heck she even made me look pretty good which is an accomplishment in itself. My wife has recommended Katie to her friends for their weddings and we would recommend her for anyone looking to help cherish their special day. We just want to thank Katie so much for her professionalism, dedication to our needs, sweet personality, and continued friendship long after our wedding.

Katie was a complete honor to work with! My husband and I first met her at our engagement photo shoot. Sean was really nervous, but hearing Katie say, "Act normal. Pretend I'm not even here" really helped! The pictures all turned out so natural and real. Her eye for photography is just breathtaking! We also had the great privilege of having Katie as our wedding photographer. For one person to cover an entire wedding and not miss even one detail was just extraordinary! My family was in tears while looking through our wedding photos online and in the beautiful photo album Katie put together. I am so thrilled to have the pictures to show my future family.

Have you ever been to a wedding ceremony and you could not stop looking at the annoying photographer standing in the middle of the aisle with an insane amount of photography equipment and chewing gum, I have, and praise the Lord Katie was not like that! Our guests even asked if we had a photographer! She was so great at blending in with the family and truly understood that our guests want to mingle freely around the ceremony and reception venue without having to bump into another piece of photography equipment. Not only was Katie amazing to work with, the other wedding vendors commented on how great she was at communicating with them during the reception as well...and she even brought me water when my bridesmaids forgot!

I can truly admit that Katie was my favorite wedding vendor to work with through the planning process and the day of. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat :)

Shari's Grandbabies

The best photo shoot we’ve ever had was done by Katie. We knew this shoot would be a challenge with 7 kids under 11, and right during naptime yet too. We were so thrilled with the photos! We planned our photo shoot for New Year’s Eve day at Opryland Hotel, a real challenge with the crowds there. Katie had a wonderful “way” with the kids, every picture was absolutely adorable. All smiles and no tears. When we’d move our location, the little ones were fighting over who was going to hold her hands while we walked. Katie did the greatest impromptu pictures! She came up with ideas at the drop of a hat and because the kids adored her, they went along with anything she suggested. Totally pleased with our session and our photos – we still show them to everyone and share them every chance we get. Can’t wait until the 7 grandkids are together again so we can have another shoot! Thanks, Katie! These photos will always be a precious part of our family’s heritage.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Katie for our engagement and wedding photos. It is always a huge decision who is going to capture every moment of one of the most special moments of our lives. This decision was made easy after we saw Katie’s great work. The pictures taken by Katie are always amazing. Katie took pictures of our family after our third child was born. She captured beautiful pictures of the kids holding their new brother and welcoming him into the family. She also did fun pictures and captured the kids unique personalities. These are pictures that I will always love. Most recently Katie took birth pictures of our newest addition. She came to the hospital with us and took pictures of our son being born. During the birth, an emergency c-section had to be done. Katie still captured every moment of what was a traumatic situation and turned it into something beautiful. These are images I will treasure forever. They are breathtaking. I would recommend Katie for any moment that you are wanting to capture. She has such a fantastic eye to capture those special moments.
